Sales reports

What was sold, told seven different ways, because "how are sales?" is really several questions wearing one coat.

Seven questions, not one

The day book answers what happened today, bill by bill. The summary answers how the month compares. Top selling products answers what to reorder, and tax and discount answers where the margin went. They are different reports because they are different decisions.

All of them read the bills you have already raised, so none of them needs preparing — which is what makes it reasonable to look at the day book daily and the rest when the question comes up.

Using them

  1. 1Bill as usual

Every report reads from the bills themselves.

  2. 2Pick the period

    A day, a month, a season.

  3. 3Pick the question

Detail, comparison, or what to reorder.

  4. 4Export it

PDF or CSV, for your CA or your own records.

Inside Reports

Roughly 55 reports across sales, purchase, stock, parties, GST, expenses, staff and leads, each filterable by date and exportable as PDF or CSV. They read from the same records the rest of the app writes, so nothing has to be reconciled first.

Daily reports answer “what happened today”, monthly ones answer “what do I owe and who owes me”, and the GST set answers the return.
