The bill you already raised becomes an e-Invoice with its IRN, and an e-Way Bill for the goods on their way, without being typed into a second portal.
Businesses past the turnover threshold have to register invoices with the portal and carry an e-Way Bill with goods in transit. Done outside the billing app, that means entering the same invoice twice and hoping the two agree.
Here the invoice you raised is the invoice that gets registered: the request goes through a registered NIC GSP, and the IRN comes back onto the bill. An e-Way Bill takes the transport detail on top of the same document, and both stay with the invoice for whenever they are asked for.
Enter your credentials once, following the in-app guide.
The ordinary GST bill, with its party and items.
The IRN comes back and sits on the bill.
Transport details for goods that are moving.
The money side of the business: what has been billed, what has been collected, what is still owed, and what the tax on all of it comes to. Party ledgers sit at the centre — every bill and every payment lands on somebody’s khata, and the balance there is the number you act on.
Most of this area runs on its own once bills are being raised: ledgers update as you bill, reminders go out on their due dates, and the GST reports are built from what is already recorded.

The bill it is generated from, and the credits it consumes.
Generation goes through a registered NIC GSP that you set up once inside the app, using the in-app credentials guide.
They are separate documents from the same bill: the e-Invoice returns an IRN, and the e-Way Bill adds the transport detail for goods in transit.
Each document generated draws on the credits your plan carries — the table above shows how many that is per plan.
One invoice, one entry, with the IRN kept on the document itself.
