Dynamic invoice UPI QR

A QR on the bill that already knows what it costs. The customer scans, the amount is filled in, and nobody mistypes a rupee figure.

Why the amount matters

A static QR stuck on the wall gets the customer to the payment screen and leaves them to type the amount. That is where the small errors come from — a digit missed, a figure rounded, a payment that has to be chased for the difference.

A QR printed on the bill carries the amount with it. The customer scans what is in front of them and pays exactly what the invoice says, which also makes matching the receipt to the bill straightforward afterwards.

Inside Financial Management

The money side of the business: what has been billed, what has been collected, what is still owed, and what the tax on all of it comes to. Party ledgers sit at the centre — every bill and every payment lands on somebody’s khata, and the balance there is the number you act on.

Most of this area runs on its own once bills are being raised: ledgers update as you bill, reminders go out on their due dates, and the GST reports are built from what is already recorded.

Questions people ask

How is this different from a QR stuck on the wall?

A wall QR needs the customer to type the amount. One printed on the bill already carries it.

Does the payment record itself?

The receipt is recorded against the bill, into the account it landed in, so the ledger and the bank agree.

Does it work on a printed bill and a shared PDF?

The QR is part of the bill, so it travels with it either way.

Let the bill collect itself

The customer scans what is in front of them and pays the exact figure.
